　2008年（平成20年）9月24日（水）から9月27日（土）までハワイ マウイ島で開催される第3回米国外傷外科学会・日本救急医学会合同学会についてお知らせいたします。

● AASTへの多数の演題応募をありがとうございました。口演10題・ポスター30題が採択されました。
Preliminary programがAASTのwebページ (http://www.aast.org/index.aspx)よりダウンロード可能ですのでご参照ください。
● 例年よりAAST側からの参加者が多く、会場であるThe Grand Wailea Resort (Maui, Hawaii)は6月上旬に満室となりました。
● AAST側で急遽近隣の学会近くのマリオットホテルと交渉し、学会価格での予約が可能となっています。ただし、部屋数にかなり限りがあり、満室になり次第終了とのことです。宿泊予約は各自で電話予約(米国800-367-2960 or 808-879-1922)となっています。AASTのウェブページに記されている案内を抜粋します。

As promised, AAST has secured additional accommodations for attendees to AAST's 67th Annual Meeting (September 24-27) at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, Maui, HI. The Marriott is located within walking distance to/from The Grand Wailea Resort & Spa. Please book your room as soon as possible, as there are a limited number of rooms available and they will be booked on a first come, first serve basis. The group nightly rate is $255 single/double for a Terrace room and $285 single/double for an ocean room, plus taxes and a $25 nightly resort services fee. Reservations can be made by calling 800-367-2960 or 808-879-1922. Reservations made after August 23, 2008, or when the room block fills, are subject to availability. A one night deposit is required at time of booking. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty.

いずれにせよまもなく満室になることが予想されます。宿泊予約がお済みでない方はお急ぎ下さい。なお、航空便も満席の便が目立ってきています。こちらも早めの予約をおすすめします。
